The Vittoria shipyard in Adria yesterday launched the work vessel C862, which is destined under a charter contract for Zeta srl, a Chioggia company specializing in maritime works. The new unit is led by Adriese di Navigazione, the shipping company and holding company of the group to which the Vittoria Shipyard belongs. For both companies, Adriese and Vittoria correspond to the same shareholding structure, which belongs to the Duo family.
The first Liebherr HS 8300, the largest lattice crane designed and installed by the German Liebherr on a boat.The technical launch took place in the presence of Luigi Duo, president of Cantiere Navale Vittoria SpA and of all shipyard workers, as well as representatives of the company Zeta srl.
The newborn of the Vittoria house, a single hull 84.20 meters long, 19 meters wide, with a full displacement of 7400 tons and a speed of 10.5 knots, will improve the navigability of seaways, sea channels or harbors at risk of being buried , which can level, decrease or increase the depth of the seabed. In fact, the technical characteristics of the boat are ideal for supporting the first copy of Liebherr crane model HS 8300, a lifting machine with a capacity of 300 tons, a 41 meter boom, a 10 cubic meter orange peel grab and a hydraulic grab 30 cubic meters .With the crane you can collect sand, clay, silt, gravel and small stones from the bottom, lift it and place it in the loading area. It has horizontal doors at the bottom that can be opened so that the material can be unloaded where necessary, for example for the construction of new grounds or the extension and consolidation of existing ones, or to replace those caused by storms or by the action of the waves. the beaches, restoring their original shape. The boat is also prepared for the installation of various dredging techniques, such as the trailing suction pipe system. The total value of the order is approximately 15 million euros.
