About

The "Maison" Le Borgne, as its President has always wanted to call it, is certainly the oldest French maritime armament company. It has been passed down from father to son without interruption since 1735, living off its own resources and without help from state capital.
After two hundred and ninety years of uninterrupted activity, the Cie Charles le Borgne offers its French and foreign customers all the services of a large shipping company: Consignment, Handling, Chartering, Transit Operations, Inland Transport, Containers, etc. And this, in the most diverse fields: regular lines, tramping, bulk forest products, etc.
Managed and run from Paris, the Compagnie Charles Le Borgne today represents a national network based on 400 people, 18 port agencies including those of Marseille and Port Saint Louis du Rhone and significant handling and warehousing resources. It also has subsidiaries and representations in Antwerp, Casablanca, London and New York
