Weeks Marine in the US christened a US$41 million oceangoing hydraulic cutter suction dredge, CR McCaskill, on July 16 2012 at the company's Houma Marine Yard.

The vessel is named for Charles R (Charlie) McCaskill. It is the third dredge in Weeks Marine's four-year, five-dredge US$200 million-plus capital investment initiative announced in May 2011.
