She was originally powered by a 14hp steam engine, and repowered in 1921 with a 270 ihp steam engine.
Note: In 1914 Otto and Curt Fruhling patented revolutionary designs for suction heads for dredging equipment which was particularly effective in tenacious or heavy ground.
In 1921 they asked for patent in the USA.
