The New Suction Dredger

A combination of outstanding properties and innovations
The design of the double-hulled vessel enables the new innovations such as suction pipe, suction head and sediment transport dredging to be used in an optimal method.
Another advantage is the shallow draft of the dredging vessel and the transport equipment (barges). This significantly increases the range of possible uses.
As a catamaran with Voith Schneider propulsion, this combination allows for very advantageous maneuverability and a long operating time in bad weather conditions.
The size of the vessel's hull can be individually adapted to future projects during construction

The multipurpose vessel can be used as a conventional TSHD, sidecasting, barge loading and WID. She was developed in partnership with Mobius Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH (formerly Josef Mobius Bau AG).
It is unclear if the dredger has ever been build and/or operational.
