Built at the Lambrechts Yard in Boom (Belgium) as towbarge STADT CHARLEROI for Societe Anversoise de Transports Fluviaire SA.
In 1986 rebuilt (of the original from 1910, only the stern remains) and converted into a suction dredger, and renamed ZUIGZAND. Over the years she has seen several Belgian and Dutch owners.
