NCC Roads A/S

NCC Roads operates aggregates plants under the Ballast brand. Ballast represents weight, knowledge and service. We have extensive knowledge of our products and their application methods.
NCC’s shipping company has a fleet of five sand and gravel dredgers, with loading capacities ranging from 340 m3 to 1150 m3. Three of the vessels are ISM and ISPS certified. Together, they annually recover about two million tonnes of raw materials from the seabed around Denmark, depositing it at our permanent dredging sites at Esbjerg, Thyborøn, Nyborg, Århus, Avedøre, Gilleleje and Køge as well as supplying external customers at Hanstholm, Malmø and Gothenburg.
The raw materials are subsequently processed for use in the concrete and asphalt industries.
