Roslagen Shipping AS

The shipping company was established by Johan Mostraum in 1971.
In 1997 it was converted into an AS and the generational change came in 2004 when his son Jon Fredrik Mostraum took over the daily management. Jon Fredrik and Mary Ann Mostraum now own and run the family shipping company together.
The shipping company has grown steadily to three self-unloading vessels equipped with excavators, and two special vessels for sand pumping/dredging and transport of wet/loose masses.
The shipping company is a training company, has an office in Leknes and a workshop in Hjelmas in Alver municipality.
We have 50 years of experience with sea transport of sand, gravel, asphalt, shell sand extraction and various special jobs within dredging and sea filling. We are one of the few in Norway, and the only company from Vestland that has licenses and operates with extraction of shell sand and pumping to bathing beaches.
