Stone Marine Enginering

'Stone Marine Engineering' is a maritime engineering company that has been operating nationally and internationally for over 50 years. Specializing in dredges, construction of reefs and in general in hydraulic works, it was born following the flood of 1966 that heavily hit the residential centers of the Venice Lagoon, their historic centers and the smaller islands. Following the tragic event some families of 'sabbionants' (people who dig in the sand) founded in 1969 a Cooperative Labor and Manufacturing Company.
The preservation of the territory with maritime, hydraulic and morphological works in the lagoon, river and maritime sectors has transformed these sea men into entrepreneurs by acquiring recognized national and international competences.
