The port of Palermo at present has all in all quays for an extension of about 4,000 metres, 14 berths with drafts up to 11 metres, port areas for 35,000 hectares – water surface excluded – and warehouses for about 8,100 sqm. Also thanks to the promotional activities performed by the Port Authority and to the fascinating welcoming structures – among others, a Cruise Terminal and a Passenger Terminal provided with any kind of service – the port has significatively developed the activities in the cruise sector with more than 350,000 cruise passengers per annum.
