Through friendly negotiations, a Joint Venture between Bohai Oil Marine Engineering & Supply Co., Ltd. and China Communications Construction Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd was established on 28 August, 2007 and a formal Cooperation Agreement was signed on the day. The JVC was named as “CCCC BOMESC Marine Industry Co., Ltd.”. Its address is Xingang Road 1, 2#, Tanggu District, Tianjin; Business Scope covers design and fabrication of offshore and shipbuilding projects, project maintenance and other technical service etc.
The fabrication yard of JVC is 110 thousands square meters approximately. So far, a part of yard has been completed and can be used for offshore module fabrication. The maximum load capacity of the yard is 3000 tons; two slipways with 150 meters and 180 meters long respectively and one gantry crane with 50 meters wide and 40 meters high are to be installed at the yard
