Piriou Shipyard

PIRIOU is a leading French shipbuilding and ship repair yard, based in Concarneau on the southern Brittany coast. The yard has constructed during its 45 years of business over 300 vessels. The main areas of operation are medium-sized vessels with high added value, such as ocean going tuna seiners, fishing vessels and towing and offshore service vessels. The hopper dredger “Michel DSR” was her first experience in dredge newbuildings but will certainly not be her last.
