Whites Shipyard (Southampton) Ltd.

White’s Shipyard was situated on the Itchen River at Hazel Road, Woolston. The business was founded by two brothers named White in 1892. They made a range of small ships including ferries, yachts and minesweepers, and also carried out ship repair work. The yard closed down in the early 1960s.
