Pipelines rarely operate in steady state conditions. When for example pressure surges or acoustic waves are either anticipated (at the design stage) or experienced (during operations), it is crucial to understand what is causing these events, and their frequency and magnitude.
Dynaflow Research Group is able to deliver the full range of engineering services for pipe system design. We combine expertise in fluid flow behaviour, dynamic oscillations, with sophisticated analysis software to predict the performance of pipelines. As a result, pipelines can be built that can cope with or avoid loads and pressure transients.
