- On February 14, 2008 at 1900 the dredge Bella Rose had an engine room fire during its initial startup at on the lower mississippi river. No injuries and no pollution.
- On 20 Aug 2013, Dredge BELLA ROSE sunk. The personnel onboard were rescued prior to sinking and tugs in the area pushed the BELLA ROSE as close to the bank as possible prior to her settling on bottom in 33 feet of water.
