About this equipment
Built for the US Army as a Tank Landing Vessel named Millard County, nr LST 987. In 1961 she was sold to the German army, and was struck from the Geraman Navy list in 1968 to be sold for scrap.
In 1972 she was bought by Zandzuig & Transportbedrijf H.G. & G.D. Blomberg B. V. of Berkel en Rodenrijs (NL) and converted into a TSHD at the Merwede yard in the Netherlands, for sand winning at the North Sea.
Scrapped in 2022
