About this equipment

Cutter Suction Dredger “Hamriya Bay” is procured by Gulf Cobla during the first quarter of 2014. In the first quarter of 2014, Gulf Cobla procured the IHC Beaver “Hamriyah Bay”. This Beaver 1600 Cutter Suction Dredger was built in 1993. The hull of this dredger consists of three separate pontoons. One main pontoon, housing the engine room and dredge pump, and two side pontoons housing bunkering capacity and storage rooms.  IHC dredger from the Beaver range are well known for its robust construction, reliable operation and excellent performance. As this is a standard dredger from the Beaver range, spare parts and wear parts are readily available from stock. These types of dredgers are developed and dimensioned to allow the equipment to be transported by road or by sea. All pontoons can be disassembled, transported separately and reassembled on the project location. IHC Holland is the manufacturer of all Beaver model Cutter Suction Dredgers.  All Gulf Cobla’s dredgers are outfitted with state of the art positioning systems and the latest dredging technology.  This dredger is ideal for production projects in sandy material as well as the smaller dredging projects in sandy and sheltered conditions.
