About this equipment
FEEDBACK: Sold under the name of "River Pearl 18,"to be scrapped
The TSHD River Bee was sold by its former owners to AMS in Freemantle, Australia, in early 2010. The River Bee's last assignment in Mexico ended five years earlier, and the vessel had been laid up for five years. To restore the vessel to 100% operational status, we carried out the following work: *Various steel repairs were carried out on the hull, in the hopper, in the voith spaces, and on deck, with a total weight of 100 tons. *The entire dredging equipment, including the suction pipe and derricks, was removed from the deck and overhauled, preserved, and reinstalled. *The electrical system was largely renewed. *The hydraulic system was completely overhauled, including all consumers. *All diesel engines were overhauled. *A completely new accommodation was also built and installed to current Australian standards.
Until 1986 "l'Adour", until 1994 "DI 15", in 1995 converted into a trailing suction hopper dredger at the Reimerswaal Shipyard.
