."Les Morees" was built by the Ateliers et Chantriers de la Loire in St. Nazaire as a 350 cubic meter clamshell carrier for the Service de Ponts et Chaussees of the Departement de la Loire Inferieur. The crane is a later addition. Rebuilt in? with diesel engine. A beautiful photo taken during his service in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie for the Societe de Travaux Publics Voisin (1971 - 1977) is published by Jean-Yves Brouard, Les Bateaux de Servitude, page 31.
