About this equipment
"Maitena" was built for the French Société Francaise d'Entreprise
de Dragage & de Travaux Publics. Homeport was first Abidjan, later Saigon
(Bureau Veritas Register 1954). Between 1954 and 1963 it was sold to the Port
of Calcutta, but not renamed (Bureau Veritas Register 1963).
