About this equipment
"Maitena" was built for the French Societe Francaise d'Entreprisede Dragage & de Travaux Publics. Homeport was first Abidjan, later Saigon(Bureau Veritas Register 1954). Between 1954 and 1963 it was sold to the Portof Calcutta, but not renamed (Bureau Veritas Register 1963).
